Brooks, Hanna, Alesi, Adair Confirmed for July 20 Ribbon-Cutting
The Town of Mendon Public Library grand opening/ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. next Wednesday, July 20, at the new library, 22. N. Main St. (Rte 65), Honeoye Falls.
This event commemorates the lovely new 7,300-square-foot Mendon Public Library building. Come witness this historic moment when members of the Mendon Town Board and Mendon Public Library Board of Trustees officially dedicate Phase 1 of the new library.
In addition to Town Supervisor John Moffitt, the Mendon Town Board members and the library trustees, the following area officials have confirmed their attendance: Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks, New York State Assemblyman Sean Hanna, Monroe County Legislator Jeff Adair, and New York State Senator Jim Alesi.
Virginia Butler from YNN/R-News and HFL High School senior Hailey Roth will co-emcee the event.
Years of collaboration and work from our elected officials and countless volunteers will culminate in this special evening. You won’t want to miss it!
