‘Moving Day’ Custom BrewCrafters Fund-Raiser a Success

Just days before the library’s move into its new building, close to 200 chicken dinners and lots of root beer floats were sold in support of the project at a special event held at Custom BrewCrafters.

Ruth Hayes (left) staffed the Friends table at the event, and enjoyed the company of Matthew Cook, 14 months, and his mother, Jaclyn, both from Victor. Jaclyn said they are big fans of Custom BrewCrafters and wished town of Mendon residents the best on the new library project.

Many thanks to Mike and Luanne Alcorn for their generosity in setting up and sponsoring the event, to John Shipe for taking the lead on the cooking, to the many volunteers who helped staff the event–and to the weather for holding off on the rain.
